Pharaohs

A very long time ago there were kings and queens and they would take over countries. But today I'm going to tell you about the three greatest pharaohs of all one is Queen Hatshesput, Cleopatra VII, and Rameses II. So hold on tight and learn about the 3 greatest pharaohs of all.!

Queen Hatshesput way the first wife and Queen of Thutmose II. When Thutmost II died he proclaimed she become pharaoh. She had even wore a fake beard, dressed as a king and the people accepted. She remained in power for 20 years.
She also expanded trading relations and built magnificent temples as well as restoring them. She had the most excess of all pharaohs. Also when her husband died Thutmost II she had saved a lot of money by reducing the people that would assist her so Egypt can save money. She reduce drinking many beer bottles. She reduce the eating to 2000 bread loaves a day too 1,800 loaves a day so they can save money. When the nephew became of age he has taken his place as pharaoh. Who n the nephew took over we never knew what happened to the Queen. We think the son was not very fond of the Queen so he took all her painting off and her names on the walls off!

Cleopatra VII

In 51 B.C, Ptolemy Aulets died and gave his kingdom to his 18 year old daughter Cleopatra. Cleopatra was born 69 B.C in Alexandria, Egypt. She has 2 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. She married her 12 year-old brother without choice. Cleopatra was a strong-willed Queen who was brilliant and dreamed of a huge empire and she almost achieved it. She was 17 or 18 when she took the throne. Caesar pursued Ptomley (her bother) and stabbed him to death as she watched. They has killed Pompey Caesar's friend. The people that had killed Pompey had put his head in a box and gave it as a present to Caesar as a gift for killing Ptomely I. Her other brother Ptomely XII found that Caesar was her lover and felt betrayed. Then there was a war and when Ptomely tried to escape in the sea somebody from the war had killed him. Cleopatra had gotten pregnant and had a son name Ceasaronian. Caesar had Been stabbed to death by unknown people. Cleopatra then knew she was in trouble and had fled away. But then she had meant Antony and saved her but after awhile Antony friend had killed himself for his master to show his master he had a heart. Then Antony had stabbed himself in the stomach and had pasted out. Then Cleopatra servants went to fetch him cause Cleopatra wanted too see him. Then he climbed up her window and then she was soo happy to see him and then he told her this don't pity me and remember my past happiness. Then he had died. She was in some much tragedy she tried to hill herself. In 30 B.C she committed suicide by letting a posinous snake bite her she was 39 years old when this had happened.



Rameses II

Rameses II became Emperor of Egypt in 1304. He was the frst king to ever sing a peace
treaty with his enemies. Rameses II was born in Queen Iuy and his father set. He was king at age 20 and ruled for over 67 years. He was the great son of RA. They thought he was because he was Great. He was married to Nefertari. He was believed to have 100 children. 1237 Rameses II dies and is taken over by his son Ptah. He was known as the Eyptian great. We will all midd him.
