What characteristics helped Miyax survived.

In the story "Amaraq The Wolf" Miyax was able to survive because she was intelligent.

intelligent thing she did was that when she was lost and hungry she went to the Amaraq (the wolf). She didn't just run up to him and scream or started talking to him.

Also the next intelligent thing she did was that she studied them. So when she ask for stuff she can use wolf language.

Finally the last intelligent thing she did was built her own little shelter. Between the rock she put mud through there so when it's cold so the wind can't go through.
